Who does the work

Leo Wortley, co-founder.

Leo has run Future Networks since 2021. He builds AI that paying customers use every day, and we've helped 150+ businesses so far. He's an Anthropic-certified consultant.

Before AI, the team built wireless networks, GPS positioning networks and dashcam mapping, where kit either works in the field or it doesn't.

Before that, at Gartner, he worked with CIOs, CTOs and CEOs of mid-sized organisations across the UK and Ireland on their technology priorities. He studied at UCL.

What does it cost?

The first call we sit in on costs nothing. After that, the monthly plan is a small fee for unlimited calls with your portfolio managers. Each build has a fixed price in its one-page plan, and nothing starts without your go.

How do you keep things confidential?

We sign an NDA before we join a call or read a transcript. We only use the data a job needs, on tools the company has approved, and a person approves anything important. We're fully insured.

Who pays, the fund or the company?

Whichever suits you. The portfolio company can sign and pay, or the fund can commission the work.

Does the company have to replace its software?

No. We build around the systems the company already uses, including older software with no API.

What happens once it's built?

We keep it working and keep making it better. If it's worth it, we roll it out across the company and can look at the same job in your other portfolio companies. If it isn't, we'll say so.
